- 1.in brief
a system monitor for the terminal
- 2.in general
The classic system monitor, rebuilt. This site is themed after it.
- 3.in particular
Live processor, memory and process monitoring for Mac and Linux, with forgiving search.
note
A modern system monitor using platform-native APIs (/proc on Linux, sysctl/Mach on macOS), with a sortable live process table and intelligent fuzzy search via Levenshtein distance. Built on ftxui for responsive async updates, on the principle that a system monitor should never be the reason the system is busy.
note
A system monitor that asks each operating system for its numbers the way that system prefers to be asked, rather than through a lowest common denominator. The process table sorts live, and the search tolerates typos by measuring how far off a word is rather than demanding an exact match. Built on the principle that a tool for finding out why the machine is busy should never itself be the reason.
